Annapurna Yojana
"Annapurna Yojana - Food for All" is our 365 days scheme. We serve cooked food for 500-800 persons in various Govt. Hospitals, Anath Ashram etc. which is powered by Sri Ramesh Chandra Parekh Jewellers Family in fond Memory of Late Jaysukhbhai Parekh
Education
It is a well known fact that education plays a very important role in the upliftment of of the downtrodden & in this respect we have tied up with institutions giving education to the underpriviledged children by giving support for their studies. Also, children from lower income group are helped with their school fees, books etc.
Medical OPD Units
We are running many Sunday OPDs in Kolkata & surrounding rural areas. Currently seven such OPDs are established at Bowbazar, Joka, Bhowanipur, Uluberia, Bandel and Liluah. MJ is greatly indebted to Dr. Manhar Gala, Sri Manubhai Mehta & Late Sri Jassubhai Chaglani for sowing the seed of the Sunday OPD in rural areas.
Pure Water (Water Hut)
In 2012 in loving memory of our beloved Sri Gattubhai two Cold Drinking Water units were installed - 1) Chakraberia Rd xing & 2) Harish Chatterjee Rd xing.
Gun Laxmi Foundation has donated one Cold Drinking Water unit which is installed in Teen Koniya Park, Kolkata
Disaster Management
We also been active in any natural calamities like Floods, Cyclone & earthquakes. Be it the floods in Bihar or AILA, AMPHAN, etc. in West Bengal MJ has always pooled its resources at such times in giving Relief & Aid to the affected people. Teams have gone to ground zero with food, clothing & medical supplies & teams of doctors to provide relief.
Widows, Destitutes & Divyang Jan
In todays world when people are struggling to make two ends meet there always remains such section of people who are deprived of even the basic needs of life. There are many NGOs who try to provide food, shelter, clothing and schooling for such sections. MJ has always tried whatever possible to help people at such homes both in cash & kind.
